In Narasipura Jianderfund financed a fencing around the schoolbuilding. Now it is safe for the children to play outside, also for the little ones.
Fr. Salu Jacob runs this (english medium) school. The quality of the school is very high. The parents of the rich children pay a higher fee. About 20-25% of the children are poor and pay less or no fee. With the fee of the rich, the poor children can also go to school. In this way, every child has got a chance to get educated.
Salu is a very beloved father who takes care of the children very well. He knows their families en the situation at home. If needed, he also takes care of the medical treatment of the poor children.
Salu studied Antropology in Amsterdam for a while. Now, he is using his knowledge back in India.
Our visit to India and Sri Lanka almost every year, brings us to close contact with the conditions of the poor people living in these countries. We also support individuals, specially disabled people who are in dire need of our assistance.
